STEP 1
Activate Your Android Terminal
Your Android POS terminal comes preconfigured with everything you need. Simply power on the device using the side button, wait for the boot sequence to complete, and connect to your store's Wi-Fi network or enable mobile data through the built-in SIM slot. The terminal will automatically check for system updates on first boot.
STEP 2
Install the miaPOS Application
Open the app store on your Android terminal and search for "miaPOS". Tap install and wait for the download to complete. The app is lightweight and optimized specifically for Android hardware, ensuring fast performance and reliable payment processing. Once installed, launch the app from the home screen.
STEP 3
Log In with Your Credentials
Enter the merchant login credentials provided by your acquiring bank. These include your merchant ID and a one-time activation code. After the first login, the terminal will be permanently linked to your merchant account. You can configure your QR code preferences and payment settings from the main menu.
STEP 4
Accept Payments!
You are now ready to accept instant payments. Enter the payment amount and choose between a dynamic QR code (displayed on screen for the customer to scan) or NFC tap-to-pay. The customer confirms the payment in their banking app, and you receive a real-time confirmation on the terminal. All transactions are visible in your Merchant Portal.
Frequently Asked Questions
What internet connection does the terminal need?
The Android terminal works with Wi-Fi or mobile data (3G/4G via SIM card). A stable connection is required only at the moment of payment confirmation. Offline QR generation is not supported.
Can I use one terminal for multiple store locations?
Each terminal is linked to a specific store and merchant account. If you operate multiple locations, you will need a separate terminal for each one. Contact your bank to provision additional devices.
How do I view my transaction history?
You can view recent transactions directly on the terminal via the Transactions menu. For a full history with filtering, exports, and analytics, log in to the Merchant Portal from any web browser.
What should I do if the terminal does not power on?
Ensure the device is charged. Hold the power button for at least 5 seconds. If the issue persists, contact your bank's support team or reach out to us via the Support page.
